Purpose: Genealogists of varying experience meet to share their knowledge of Irish research and Irish history with other members; provide ideas or direction on how members could achieve successes; better understand why relatives left Ireland through the study of Irish history; locate family members the emigrant may have left behind through study of Irish records; encourage members participation in Irish research.

We meet the second Tuesday of the month at the Fairfax County Pohick Regional Library, 6450 Sydenstricker Rd, Burke, VA., October through May. The library is located at the corner of Old Keene Mill Road and Sydenstricker Road. Meetings last about 2 hours. There is ample parking. Dates and times are on the event calendar.
