Purpose
: Wherever you are on your genealogical journey, we hope this group will provide the opportunity for us to get to know each other, provide mutual help, encouragement, assistance, advice, and a recognition that we share a common quest.We will be sharing research strategies,  activities, problems, and success stories, that are unique to African American history and culture. 

Meetings: Our meetings are open to all — you do not have to be a member of the Fairfax Genealogical Society to attend. Current Meeting dates are Wednesday - March 13, April 10, May 8, June 12 on Zoom from 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Meetings may be virtual via Zoom or in person. Details are on the event calendar. Participants range from beginners to experienced experts. Zoom links will be posted on the event calendar when they are available.

Program Schedule
