Stephen Ullrich Bio: I’m a retired PhD biochemist with over 25 years of genealogy experience and apply my scientific expertise and training to genetic genealogy and other genealogical research. Based in Washington, DC, I regularly lecture on topics including admixture analysis, various DNA types (autosomal, mitochondrial, X and Y), and genealogy tools like DNA Painter's WATO, Ancestry's ProTools, and several AI programs. I transcribe and translate German Kurrent script documents for the German Genealogy Group and have been an active WikiTree member for 12 years, contributing to profile improvements. Currently, I serve on the boards of the Arlington Roots Users Group and the East Coast Genetic Genealogy Conference.
