Amy Breedlove is a native Virginian born near Richmond, but she's lived in Northern VA her whole life. She’s a GMU graduate in History and a retired career Federal employee. She got interested in genealogy at age 9, long before the internet, and has stayed interested since, although until she retired she didn’t have a whole lot of time to devote to her research. Since then, she’s had a lot more success in filling out her family tree but still has a ways to go. She has ancestors all throughout the Southeast, including NC. She’s been a member of FxGS for years, and also belongs to the Mount Vernon Genealogical Society, VGS, NGS, several other genealogical and historical societies. She’s not a professional genealogist or speaker but is always willing to answer questions or help folks out.
