Recommendations for Appointed Positions
Newsletter: Worth Anderson
Worth has been an avid genealogist for 30 years.  He was trained by his late aunt, a Certified Genealogist, while in college.  Worth’s undergraduate degree was in print journalism.  A course in editing magazines has left him with a lifelong itch to edit a publication like the FxGS Newsletter.  He wrote the lead article in the June 2018 issue of the National Genealogical Society Quarterly.  Another article is slated to appear in the March 2019 issue.  Last year he also published a brief article in French in the Memoires de la Societe genealogique canadienne-francaise.  In 2009, he wrote a book based on research he conducted in Polish archives.  He has conducted research in archives throughout Europe, the UK, and the US.

External Relations: Janet Hall Werner
Janet Hall Werner is a family historian, a genealogist, and an attorney with over 20 years of experience in genealogical research. She specializes in Irish, German and English immigration, and in migration patterns within the U.S., as well as in discovering the stories that are hidden in the records. She has served as the editor of the FxGS Newsletter for the past four years and recently assumed the leadership of the DNA SIG.

Marketing Chair Assistant: Jackie Petersen
Jackie has served as the Corresponding Secretary of FxGS for the past year.  She has been a member of FxGS for 17 years and has been researching her family history for over 40 years.  She is looking forward to working with the current Marketing chair to help meet the marketing needs of the FxGS.

Syllabus Coordinator: Jen Stahl
Jen is a new FxGS member who is enjoying learning about Genealogy and researching her family.  She has vast experience with syllabi at the university level.  She created the syllabus template that her Division currently uses and oversees the editing and collection of nearly 150 syllabi each semester.  She is proficient in Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Conference Registrar: Susan Krumhaus
Susan has been a member of the FxGs Conference Registration Team during Connie Jeremiah's entire tenure.  As part of that team, she has worked on badges, prepared the registration packages, worked at the registration table during the scheduled registration period, checking attendees in and answering questions. For the 2018 Fall Fair, Susan served as the onsite Acting Registrar. She is looking forward to working on both the Spring Conference and Fall Fair.
